in 1860, the Storybook Inn Bed and Breakfast is located
in the historic Rose Hill section of quaint downtown Versailles,
Kentucky - as seen in the movie Elizabethtown (filmed
in downtown Versailles and on Rose Hill Avenue) with Orlando Bloom
and Kirsten Dunst. Nestled amid lush grounds, the main house ushers
visitors into a stately entrance hall where they are warmly made
welcome.
Storybook Inn is minutes from the famed picturesque Keeneland
Racecourse, where the Sport of Kings is still "horse racing as
it was meant to be". Though only minutes from downtown Lexington,
historic Versailles features fine dining, vineyards, horse farms
and area historic sites such as Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill.
Storybook Inn is a quiet respite from the rest of the world.
The well-stocked library invites reading and relaxation, though
